Research Grant Holder in the Venice Centre for Digital and Public Humanities of Ca’ Foscari University
Dr. Barbara Tramelli is currently Research Grant Holder in the Venice Centre for Digital and Public Humanities of Ca’ Foscari University, Venice and visiting fellow at St. Benet's Hall, University of Oxford She obtained her PhD in Art History at the Freie Universitaet in Berlin in 2015. From 2011 until 2015 she worked at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science in the project ‘Art and Knowledge in Pre-Modern Europe, 1300-1650’. From 2016 until 2019 she worked as chargée de missionfor the CNRS on the project ‘Le livre Illustré à Lyon, 1480-1600’, funded by the Equipex Biblissima, in cooperation with the University of Oxford and the Warburg Institute in London. She recently published her book on the Milanese painter Giovanni Paolo Lomazzo (Brill 2017).
