Head of Audience Insights
Samuele De Stefani is currently Head of Audience Insights at Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa (Te Papa). In his role, he conducts audience research and programme evaluation to measure the success and the impact of museum experiences. He is a passionate social scientist and museum professional: his job is focused on understanding visitors' needs, expectations, and experiences using quantitative and qualitative methodologies. He employs Te Papa's Audience Impact Model (AIM) to help design products tailored for target audiences and directed towards specific goals and measurable outcomes.
He has an academic background in economics and museum studies (PhD candidate, Victoria University of Wellington).
